ADA CONSTITUENCY MP, HON COMFORT DOYOE CUDJOE, SETS A STERLING RECORD.




CONGRATULATIONS HON. COMFORT DOYOE CUDJOE FOR ATTAINING THE HIGHEST VOTE PERCENTAGE IN THE GREATER ACCRA REGION. 


Hon. Comfort Doyoe Cudjoe, MP for Ada constituency, obtained 82.14% in the 2020 general elections which is the highest in the Greater Accra Region. 

Apart from Hon. Comfort Doyoe Cudjoe, NO parliamentary candidate from the two main parties, (NPP and NDC) was able to obtain a voter percentage above 70% in the Greater Accra Region. The second highest vote percentage was obtained by Hon. Samuel Nartey George who scored 69.80%

From the statistics above, it clearly shows that elections in the Greater Accra Region is very competitive and tough. It takes a strong person who is very active, supportive and responsive to the grassroot to be able to have a commanding vote percentage more especially in the Greater Accra Region.


Mostly, the votes obtained by MPs who maintains their seat decrease but you have proven exceptional. Your vote percentage keeps on increasing. You increased the vote percentage from 72.92% in 2012 to 80.42% in 2016 and in 2020, you've increased it again to 82.14%


Hon. Doyoe, the grassroots marshal, you have raised the standard. Obtaining the highest percentage in the Greater Accra Region is a clear indication that you are the PEOPLE'S CHOICE and the good people of Ada appreciate your commitment and hard work. And therefore, the good people of Ada have decided to reward you in return. 


Your main contender was well equipped with adequate resources to be able to pull more votes yet still the good people of Ada have demonstrated that they truly acknowledge your hard work and voted massively for you. 

This vote percentage speaks volume. It indicates that material resources cannot change the minds of the voters in Ada against you. Permit me to quote one of the popular sayings in the constituency, "Hon. Doyoe, we shall continue to vote massively for you until you retire from politics". Hon. Doyoe Cudjoe, you are truly a ROCK. The West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) has released  provisional results for Candidates who sat for the 2020 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE). According to the Council, the results will be dispatched to the various Schools through the Metropolitan/Municipal/District Education Directorates. Meanwhile, the results have been hosted online at www.waecgh.com for candidates who wish to access it at their own pace. After a presidential order for schools to be closed over the Corona virus in March this year,BECE candidates were asked to return to school to prepare for this year's exam.   417 Students had their results cancelled on subject basis  for bringing foreign materials into the exam halls. 44 Students also had their entire results cancelled for bringing mobile phones into the examination hall.  About 997 Students had their results withheld over alleged examination malpractices.
