NDC MPs OF THE 8TH PARLIAMENT MUST HONOUR ADA CONSTITUENCY DULY | ADA CONCERNED NDC YOUTH (ACNDCY) DEMANDS.

As both sides of the political divide are poised to attaining a majority in parliament with incessant law suits to challenge the validity of seats won by both parties at some disputed constituencies, which will in turn fuel the emerged majority to nominate a Speaker for the 8th Parliament; it has become imperative to point to the NDC MPs to consider honouring the loyalty and stellar performance the people of ADA, through their MP, Hon Comfort Doyoe Cudjoe Ghansa, has given the NDC over the years with a very much focus on this year's election, as ADA Constituency emerged as the Constituency with the highest percentage in the Greater Accra region. 

From 2012 till now, and under the candidature of Hon. Comfort Doyoe Cudjoe Ghansah, the people of ADA has continually increased the fortunes of the NDC. The feats under different candidatures can't be ignored, ( especially when ADA CONSTITUENCY consists of both present day ADA Constituency and Sege Constituency), as they have also increased the fortunes of NDC.

It's worth noting that per the presidential results in 2012 the NDC garnered 84.81% of the vote casted as against her main contenders': NPP 13.29 %. With a slight decline in percentage of the 2016 elections to 79.34% as against the NPPs 18.4% the NDC came back stronger in the 2020 elections, garnering 82.53% of votes casted and crowning the Constituency as the Constituency with the highest percentage within the Greater Accra Region as against the NPPs 15.93%. 


It's on this backdrop, that we're calling on the NDC MPs of the 8th Parliament to consider honouring the stellar efforts made by the NDC at ADA CONSTITUENCY even with limited resources at their disposal. We have since seen in a circulation a communiqué showing the structure of the Leadership of the NDCs 8th parliament with our Hon. MP, Hon Comfort Doyoe Cudjoe Ghansah as the SECOND MAJORITY LEADER. While we're yet to receive official confirmation from the NDCs Parliamentary Caucus, we cannot help it but to be grateful and thankful for this status. We want to use this medium to congratulate the Hon MP, HON COMFORT DOYOE CUDJOE GHANSAH for this elevation. We believe that it is a step in the right direction. It's a move to consolidate the gains made by the NDC to the good people of ADA.

The West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) has released  provisional results for Candidates who sat for the 2020 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE). According to the Council, the results will be dispatched to the various Schools through the Metropolitan/Municipal/District Education Directorates. Meanwhile, the results have been hosted online at www.waecgh.com for candidates who wish to access it at their own pace. After a presidential order for schools to be closed over the Corona virus in March this year,BECE candidates were asked to return to school to prepare for this year's exam.   417 Students had their results cancelled on subject basis  for bringing foreign materials into the exam halls. 44 Students also had their entire results cancelled for bringing mobile phones into the examination hall.  About 997 Students had their results withheld over alleged examination malpractices. ADA CONSTITUENCY MP, HON COMFORT DOYOE CUDJOE, SETS A STERLING RECORD.

CONGRATULATIONS HON. COMFORT DOYOE CUDJOE FOR ATTAINING THE HIGHEST VOTE PERCENTAGE IN THE GREATER ACCRA REGION.  Hon. Comfort Doyoe Cudjoe, MP for Ada constituency, obtained 82.14% in the 2020 general elections which is the highest in the Greater Accra Region.  Apart from Hon. Comfort Doyoe Cudjoe, NO parliamentary candidate from the two main parties, (NPP and NDC) was able to obtain a voter percentage above 70% in the Greater Accra Region. The second highest vote percentage was obtained by Hon. Samuel Nartey George who scored 69.80% From the statistics above, it clearly shows that elections in the Greater Accra Region is very competitive and tough. It takes a strong person who is very active, supportive and responsive to the grassroot to be able to have a commanding vote percentage more especially in the Greater Accra Region.
